Introduction

You will learn methods to set reorder points, run cycle counts, and measure performance. The focus is on tools and procedures you can apply immediately. This matters where demand variability, limited storage, or cost pressure make inventory decisions critical.

Calculate reorder points, safety stock, and inventory requirements using demand and lead-time data.
Implement inventory control techniques including cycle counting, stock classification, and inventory accuracy monitoring.
Measure inventory performance using key indicators such as inventory turnover, stock availability, carrying cost, and service level.
Develop practical inventory improvement plans that reduce waste, improve stock visibility, and support operational efficiency.
